hey guys, does aluminum foil keep hot air away?
I had this idea of putting a piece of aluminum inbetween the air intake and the engine, think this will keep the hot air away?
i noticed during cold days, throttle response is very good. like yesterday i was able to chirp the tires from a complete stop every single time.
when its hotter, the engine seems sluggish....
think this will work? what other pieces of metal or fabric can i use to get rid of hot air?

If you wrap a fish and some veggies up in aluminum foil, put it in an oven. It will cook the food...
It would have to be very thick... but, aluminum is a good conductor of heat, and it also cools fairly quickly depending on its mass...
hence- pulling out the tin foil by the edges you wont get burned...
If you got a sheet of industral aluminum sheeting, and bent that up... it would work...
ala JWT pop Charger / INJEN heat shields...
