So Any regrets?... Trying to decide if the Performance model was worth it.

Thanks

I have the base model and haven't had any problem whatsoever maintaining traction in all conditions, including snow, on the original tires. I just use the VDC in my head! I have driven on conditions that those with VDC had real trouble on, making me wonder if the system is more of a liability than an asset.

I feel exactly the same way ttheisen.

I have come to the conclusion that TCS and VDC engage far to early and are dangerous at times. When you need a bit of power in a slide and can get it because the computer is limiting it that is dangerous. Dont even get me started on a car applying the brakes for you.

I don't miss it but then again I don't drive in conditions where it might be useful. But to reinforce ttheisen93's comment if you are smart and realize the conditions your judgement shuold be enough I think people use VDC as a crutch and ignore conditions knowing that it will save them.
