who puts high octane gas in there z'd
YES, there IS a sticky about this, and I religiously follow the advice there!
I've only had my car a short time, and so far have used only Exxon 93 in it. Even with the price of gas the way it is, it's only 15-18 cents more for premium over regular (where I live anyway). I planned on that expense before I got the car, and I consider it part of normal upkeep.
Confusion arises, because even my salesman told me my car could run on regular! When I pressed him to put that in writing though, he wouldn't do it.
A woman down the street from me who owns a G35 also says she puts regular in it. She thinks it's a conspiracy to "make us pay more for gas"
When people say things like that to a newbie it results in threads like this one. I agree that we should always look at the stickies FIRST.
Thanks much.

If someone can't afford $2-$3 extra every time they fill up your Z, I urge them to kindly sell it and let it breathe a sigh of relief.
