i went to big o tired to get new tires. i for the goodyear f 1's but there was a slight problem, they could not get the 22545 18's. a;; they could find was the 225 40 18's/ they said there would be no problem with both front and back bein 225 40 18's. do u guys know of any problems this could cause or will it be ok? if there r gonna be any problems im taking it back and gettin my money back.

 

The only concern would be whether or not it will affect your VDC/TCS. I think it will still be within tolerance. You will have a slightly lower profile tire which might be nicer looking. If Goodyear is a supplier see if they can get you Dunlop Direzzas. They have them in stock sizes and I like my set a lot. Good tires for the money.

 

Check out Tire Rack to see how the tires would fit and what problems may exist. Some tire dealers could care less they just sell tires.
