Just Wanted to Say Thanks.....
This web site has proved to be quite useful. I picked up my Z on Easter (2004 Touring with 5,000 miles) and really love the car. I had been a fan ever since they first came out and finally decided to pick one up. Truly a great car that combines power & handling and still keep a fairliy reasonable price.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all who have posted and shared their knowledge. I don't have many posts, as I have tried to be a 'good student' and keep my mouth shut while I have been searching the various threads for bits of useful information. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt".
First upgrade was a new set of forged 18" wheels with 245/40 & 275/40 Kuhmo tires. I'm REALLY happy with these and the handling is just f***king awesome! 2nd upgrade was a Passport 8500 x50, as I'm going to be taking a nice long drive this weekend and I figure I would pay now ifor some 'preventive' medicine instead of paying more later in the form of tickets. Again, the research and advice was very good.
Next upgrade will most likely be some springs to lower the car just a bit, and then to see if a new exhaust may be in order......but that will require more research. If anyone sees me posting a stupid question on a subject that I should have done a little research on first, please feel free to
flame
me. This site has such depth of info that most anything could be found with a little effort, and I don't want to get lazy.
Again, thanks to all who have shared and don't mind a few dumb questions now and again.
Your patience is appreciated.
