I was on the over pass, going over 290, headed North on the Tollway.

Bubble hit the nail on the head when he described it as being an excited feeling I wanted to share. The OEM brakes would have been enough to stop the vehicle in one emergency application. This is true. I'd have to admit though, it feels good knowing that the product worked well under pressure considering I did the install without making any vital mistakes.
Translated loosely as "gee, I sure am glad I put these bad@ss brakes on correctly, or else I wouldn't be typing this post.

Ride the beltway in the EARLY morning on the Southside.....you wouldn't think there is a speedlimit there!

If you had to stop the car so fast:
1)Why you even have time to check your speed (take at least 1 second)
2)Down shift (2 second at least)
Shouldn't you slam on the brake right away? You know what distance you would travel in 3 seconds at 100 mph?
"No skidding": it's not the BBK that causes skidding. It's ur tires and ABS.
"Brake fatigue": you were not even repeatedly using the brake on ur car. How did the brake even get fatique?

BTW, braking fromo 100+mph requires lots of distance. Maybe his car was under intense, life threatening situation and it was able to stop from 100mph in 10 feet? LOL

I didn't say you could break the laws of physics numb nuts.
I guarantee he had time to down shift, check speed and brake at the same time.

I've learned to walk and chew gum at the same time for that matter
