I wish I had the budget too. My credit card is burning a hole in my pocket right now.

Love the look of that brake kit on your car! I wish the brembo's were red as well. Yesterday I had to brake from 130mph to 60mph, which I'd rather not do and normally just release the throttle. I must say I was quite impressed by the stock brembo's.
And FYI, speed limits are everywhere now these days in Europe, expect from Germany. Although they have more and more highways as well limited to a 130km/h speed limit .

All I could think about was, "are the brakes going to heat up and give"

It's a 3 feet difference from 60-0 and 4 feet difference from 80-0. At 100-0, I would expect a 5 foot difference between stock and 14" bbk. That's a big difference in a panic stop and could easily be the difference of being behind the car in front of you instead of being inside of it.

I just receive my StopTechs, now I just gotta install 'em
Sorry, please don't take this the wrong way, but please don't speed faster than you can see what's ahead of you and safely stop. Why you were doing 100+ around a turn you couldn't see past is beyond comprehension. Glad you are in once piece. I hope you learned a valuable lesson Did you read the post of the people who T-boned another car going 100mph. Please save it for the track.

As far as traveling at 100mph on the toll way... It was a stretch of wide open freeway, with many lanes, that I'm accustomed to traveling. It's fairly new, so I would've never have guess it to have lane closures. Also, the time of day with light traffic gave me false security that it was "smooth sailing". It was just one of those things. We've all had them. An open stretch of road, we let the car breathe alittle. Certainly, this is not the way I drive on a daily basis and would never condone highspeed driving either. I will admit it did scare me a bit,and will choose to be more cautious with my surroundings and road conditions.
