That is too funny. I remeber reading somewhere that the sports car for $5 story was true. It was a very similiar situation.

Thumbs down

I'd never take a $17K Chance on an '03....Plus, his soon-to-be ex might f*ck up the car (sugar in the gas tank type of shyt) before it sells (Women are pros at this type of shyt).

Saw on mtyhbusters sugar really didnt hurt the cars internals. Now im sure enough of anything might F*ck it up. But they put a quart of sugar in the tank with no problems.

Oh man ... I feel the pain on that one!! I had a sweet lifted Jeep TJ that I was in danger of losing and decided to do the quick sell so she couldn't take what I worked on. I sold it, then read in the divorce aggreement that selling mutual property while the divorce was pending was a no-no ... so I had to count the sale as part of my assets. Ooops ... oh well, at least she wasn't driving around in my Jeep!

I think this is the same guy that posted a few weeks ago. His topic was how he should handle the fact that some gates closed on his Z. I say let her have the car and the payments and move up to a newer z with more HP and less miles. In my divorce she wanted everything and I gave it to her. I translated an altima and a ****ty condo in tucson into a z and a nice condo in phoenix. Thank god I tried to marry rich.
