Default Looking to but a Z today.. help me with pricing please?

So I finally found a listing online of a Z I want at a nearby dealership.

The online price is $28,997 with 14,066 miles on it.

Its a stock 2004 White Touring Edition... how much you guys think I can haggle the price down?

Offer 25,000. Stick to it.

Did you check kbb? What was the value according to them?

I would let that deal go altogether. That car isn't worth much more than $24K tops. If you can get $5K off then go for it. If you think $28K is a good price then you might as well pay $31K and get an 06 model touring which has a lot more nice little features and qualitfies for new car financing (lower interest rate and longer term) as opposed to the used car loan which is no more than 24 months with a higher interest rate.

Default Why not buy new?

I would consider buying a new one for that price. Take care.

Do what you have to do but be prepared to walk if they won't get you OTD for $24K. I doubt they will since they are asking $5K more than that and want TTL.

Welcome. Wrong forum for your question but..

Pay little attention to advertised prices. Kelly Blue book is a general guideline. Remember that Blue Book numbers come from used car sales. The buyer dictates the price, not the book. Study prices in your area. Consider your best offer. Visit the seller and make your best offer.

Happy shopping.

I bought an 04.5 in March for 24.5k OTD with only 13k miles on it. It also had the Nismo wing already installed

They were asking 26k plus tax/tags..etc.

I walked in with paperwork research, current KBB/NADA Price quotes, and similar cars in the area that were selling for less. They agreed and we worked out a deal at 24k

So ... its best to be prepared. They love people who just walk in and buy the same day on a whim... Do your research and go in once or twice before you make the purchase.
