Is this how tranny grinding starts?
Yesterday i was driving normal shifting and i grinded 5th 3 times in about 10 minutes. At first I thought I wasn't pushing teh clutch down all the way. However, i realized I was.. I also noticed a few days ago, 5th was really hard to get into. I had to force it in, and when i twouldnt go, i rev matched and it finally went in.. Today, i was driving normally and i grinded 2 times -.-. I shifted at 3k rpm, fast enough so i didnt bog when i went into 5th.. Is this how grinding starts??
I have grinding in 5th and 6th gear... But I noticed that if you shift fast, it'll grind. Give this a try since it worked well for me so far: When shifting to 5th, dont push it in yet, give it a couple of seconds then push it in. It is slow, but it works and doesn't grind.
I changed to Royal Purple tranny fluid and it grinds to 3rd and 5th if I don't give the tranny fluid time to heat up. I've never had any issues before this. When we change out my clutch/flywheel I'll be switching away from Royal Purple.

>< god damnit u guys are useless! lol.
In the last 2 days it hasn't grinded once. Im starting to think it has more to do w/ the guideplate than the tranny itself. I might take it apart when i order my shift ****
