I will selling my 98 C5 in the next couple of days and soon tyring to buy a 03 or 04 Z. Cany anyone tell me what the differences are between the 3 different models. Also, is the stereo as good as people say, and is it standard feature? I was considering buying the orange colored one!

Search, please.
It's a good thing everybody is playing nice of late...
As answered in your other post, are you looking at a coupe or roadster? There's 5 trims for the coupe and 3 for the roadster. The 03's had a few problems with them...tire feathering, excessive brake wear and few other things, the typical new model problems that usually get corrected in the next year of production. Please don't read that as, "every 03 will fall apart on you" though. Not every 03 has problems, there are some fine 03's out there. So...that being said, the general consenus is to get an 04 or up.
I too looked for a Lemans Sunset...could only find 2 in my area though, both AT's. Ended up going with the Silverstone.
Again, please search...you'll find loads of info on the site.

You should really search before you ask questions. If you actually looked around you could tell that most of our members are actually being really respectful since that question has been asked countless times. So please just search being starting a new thread. Good Luck with finding a Z.

Blue,
I learned my lesson about people along time ago, I don't know what I was thinking about asking complete strangers for help. If you took time to read it twice, atleast take the time to provide useful information after the sarcasm. Also, I did do a search and did not find what I was looking for.
I am terribly sorry for posting the same question twice, and didn't mean to cause a national crisis in this forum.

I'll throw some more info your way...
The five levels for the coupe are: Base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track.
Guess the main thing is what are you really looking for? Are you going to strip out the interior and use it for a track car, daily driver, weekend car or something else? Wanting a AT or MT? Looking for creature comforts such as heated seats, power everything, cruise control and navigation?
There's a lot of options out there and we wouldn't mind helping you narrow down your choices. Just need a lot more info from you.
As for what every trim level entails go to the search and type in "base trim", "touring trim" and so on.

I didn't know it was that many models, I thought there was only three. I really want leather, cruise control, and bose stereo. I think the navigation would be out of my price range. Does the Navigation only come in the touring and track models? Heated seats are not important, and no I won't go to the track! I have to have a manual too!

*The following is from my tired brain...a few details could be off*
If you want MT the Touring is out for it's AT only. Sounds like the Base is out as well if you want leather and other goodies.
I don't believe leather was an option on the Enthusiast either (may be wrong.) Looks like you're looking at the Performance or Track models. Again, the Bose stereo isn't the greatest and the factory navigation lacks in some areas. Replacing both or adding an after market nav system is common and there are plenty of applications out there.
I went from a loaded Maxima SE to an Enthusiast Z. At first I thought I would miss the leather, heated/power seats and such. Honestly, the only thing I miss is the heated mirrors...great invention.

This forum is way worse than corvette forum when it comes to sarcasm. sold my 98 vette for an 06 base. Just do a little homework before you buy and dont expect too much help here everyone here is an expert and forgets when they were new to the
forum.

Not everyone is sarcastic, but there does seem to be a group that hangs out on this board that takes delight on ripping on new members.... I would just ignore them..
BTW, you can also go to Nissan's website and play around with the "Build your own 350z" feature, it allows you to go threw all the models with there various options and see how much it will cost. If your buying used this will at least give you idea of which model you want...

BTW you could always get a question answered on CF, no matter how many times it had been asked.
I think it is cool that some of you "old timers" decided to help this guy out after all.
Cheers, Nate
