ok... so i thought i was the only one who had this but i already noticed 2 Z's w/simliar if not the same marks on their rear bumpers. At first, i thought a valet attendant in ktown did this to my bumper... but i noticed two other Z's w/this imprint. it's shaped like this ---> _____| under the license plate. about the size of a large broadway mirror. here's a pic but you can barely make it out in the pic. anyone know anything about this?

just checked mine and i didn't see anything like that...but my car is yellow and a bit dirty right now so i'll check again when its clean and shiney but i didn't see anything

its smack in the middle of the picture, its very faint, if you follow the right corner of the license plate down to the bumper you see it almost looks like a slightly lighter shade of grey

 

Ohhh shoot! I have that on my '05 DB Z too!!! Noticed it awhile ago. I thought someone just tapped my car or something. It's barely noticeable, but if you look at it from an angle you can see it. WOw... anyone else?

yea... i noticed one of those... actually my gf did. she was like... hey! that guy has the same mark as you but it doesn't have an "underscore".

noticed one in so cal koreatown at club karnak as i was driving by... he was getting valet. same silver

now i'm really getting curious as to where it came from... someone must know

Maybe if we could get a photo of the other (inside) side of the bumper... there could be a ridge running along the plastic which distorts the urethane in a L shape on the outside during molding.

As far as I can remember there isn't anything on the inside to cause that...but I don't remember the inside of the bumper too well.
