until i pay off my loan in 08,

Fellas the 350z is not gonna be a classic, it's too common. Here in socal i see anywhere from 10-15 every day. Imma trade my Z in for an RS4 or a GTR.

The Z is a good car, none the less, but a classic? dont think so.

Awesome to see a bunch of people like myself who plan on keeping this car a long time! In my quest to make sure my car runs forever, I stumbled on alot of auto maintainence sites (bitog). Some products you guys might want to check out

German Catrol Syntec 0-30W (only autozone carrys it)A heavy synthetic oil which the VQ loves, I saw two oil analysis reports on a g35 and Altima 3.5 and all showed excellent results with very low wear. The base stock this oil comes from is supposed to be excellent.

LC20 (lubricating cleaner) is an amazing product you can put in your Engine oil, Power steering fluid and Auto Trans. I bought it in hopes to raise my MPG.. and was amazed to fing it did! I was getting horrible gas mileage 15mpg now getting 16.7! Still bad but I will take it! It also extends oil changes to 10k (if you choose, I run my car hard so 7,500 for me)

http://www.lubecontrol.com/

They also sell another product fuel power 60 (fp60) which I have read great things about. Its an additive you add to your fuel that lubricates and cleans the fuel system. I have it but havent tried it yet.

Auto-rx http://www.auto-rx.net/pages/main.html

is another product thats a great engine cleaner and seal conditioner my friend ran it in is Audi A4 w/ 140k miles that leaked a quart of oil a week. The car runs much better and no longer leaks! Same with my moms camry with
92k miles stopped the oil leak/consumtion. Havent used it in my coupe. It can be used in a maintenace dose (but I use LC20 instead) for a strong engine cleaning you run it with the cheapest oil you can buy for 1500-2000miles drain...run cheap oil again for a flush. Then refill with oil of choice.

Lucas Upper cylinder lubricant sold at all auto stores also a Fuel system cleaner/lubricant (napa has gallons for $23) just like FP60.

Redline Complete fuel system cleaner (most auto stores) another lubricating cleaner like fp60 and Lucas UCL. This one adds power! I noticed right my car pulled alot stronger when I put 1/2 botttle of this stuff in, I was amazed!

please post what you guys use

It would make a good present to a bastard nephew. But it won't be a classic for another 20-30 years. The Z31 is not a classic nor is the N/A Z32.

And the mystery stains could have been your brothers or sisters.

Trading/Selling the Z was on my mind. But honestly I really don't plan on selling it. So, who knows maybe next week some guy's going to offer me a Porsche Turbo for 10k and I need to sell my Z for it. Can't say for sure, But in the mean time. I'm not planning on selling it.

Ditto - On my sixth Z and loving it. Might upgrade the Firebird to a Vette. But, can always see me having a Z around for bimping around in. They are quick and fun "little" cars.

I'm not into classic cars...I like to be with the latest model and techonology...I usually get rid of my cars every 2-3 years...so probably another year or so, I'ma get rid of this for another car...hell, if I can find a 911 Turbo, or a GT2 in the right price range, I'ma get rid of this beyotch ASAP...
