How long you keeping your Z?
i plan to keep my Z because it's gonna be a classic. it'll be my project car and i'll want to swap the latest GT-R engine in it. the engine will be built by me from the ground up.

Btw u can get a new 6.0 gto for around 28-29k and im sure u can get the 5.7 gto for even cheaper

Some other **** boxes are classics in my mind. Honda CRX Si, NSX, 96-00 Civic Coupe EX and Si M/T, 83 Corollas, 94 Pathfinders SE 4x4, 89 911 Cabriolet, Ferrari 328, S2000...
These are all great cars. Classic cars without the price tag. But don't let the price tag fool you. Not everybody that looks for a great car goes to Barret Jackson and pay +100k in a 60's muscle.
Let's see...a GT Roadster w/navi in So. Cal...2nd car about 5K miles/year...love everything about the Z....In 10 years I'll have 50K miles on her and it'll still be like brand new. I plan on keeping the Z for quite a while. For me, it's the perfect car. Garaged every night. Whether or not this Z is going to be considered a classic, It's still going to look good into the future. C'mon guys, think 15 years from now and you see a perfect, pristine '05 350zr...it's going to look sweet!!!! And feel even better!!!!!

Bought an 05' a year ago June that is not going anywhere ever; already bought a new 06' truck for a daily...........if it comes time for a new car I'll just have to figure out how to get some property with a two or three garage.............
if i get married and have kids i'll have to sell if whether i like to or not. simply out of convenience. they should really make back seats in the Z, make it more fuel efficient (use I-4), and give it more cargo room like the Golf.

I'm with the classic = yes people here. The 350Z is a great car to look at, and I don't mind seeing lots of them everyday...mostly since I don't own one yet. There are a few in the business park around my office building (black, Silver and Blue examples) that I see during my lunch hour. It seems that every manufacturer builds a car that looks like it could be the next version of the Honda Civic, but no one makes another car that you could mistake for a 350Z.
When I do get one it will be a long term car, 8 to 10 years at least.

I've always wanted a Z car and I have one. I've put too much money into it so it's just really hard to try and sell. I plan on keeping it forever. This will be the last car I'll modify this much though. I think the next car I get will be a fast *** GT/sportscar.
Till the lease is up...and then, I just might..just maybe...Step up to the Z roadster ..Daytone Blue or Lemans Sunset...or a Porsche convertible.
Wait a min...The Nissan GT-R might be an option too..hmmm??
