Anyone warm up their Z's in the morning or do ya just start and go? I warm up for a few minutes, That's what my pops used to do and still does..... I guess I got it from him....

 

bout 45seconds, if its cold, 20-30 if its not. warming it any longer than that just leaves it running in cold mode longer. 45seconds gives it time to get the oil flowing. then run it real easy, keeping revs under 2500 as much as possible, when the temp hits normal, take it to 4000, dont redline till about 5 minutes later, just cause the temp gauge reads normal temp, doesnt mean the whole engine is at full temp. I try to air on the side of caution.

 

usually about 3-4 minutes, but i keep a close eye on it. I hate going into the car and having a freezing steering wheel. Remote start would be great!

 

I usually give it 3 minutes to warm up, but this morning I was in a hurry to get to school, so I just warmed it up for 20 seconds.
