well, I am in love with the Z/G35 coupe, and plan to purchase them in 1 or 2 years after I graduate. anyways, I've been paying attention to all the article about them, and frankly, some magazine doesn't really like the sound of this VQ35 engine. so how do you guys like it? does it really sound like a truck? how would you describe it? wether you like it or not. thank guys!!!

 

The sound is pretty unique. I'd NEVER liken it to a truck. It sounds more exotic-sports-car than that. It's not enough of a rumble to be a V8 sound, of course, but its not a raspy or farty 4-banger or even typical V6 sound. It has its own exotic sound that, in my opinion, is really really sexy. I love the exhaust note of even the stock exhaust system. Its not too loud, but very unique-sounding. Everyone I know has commented on it and everywhere I drive, people turn their heads to see what kind of car is making that nice sound (especially when the rpms get pretty low on a decel - it has a really nice low-end sound). And when people turn their heads to look, their gazes are glued to the car. Since, of course, it IS a very nice looking car. I never even expected the attention I've been getting and some of it I don't even like! lol

 

I agree too its very different and exotic, I love when u first start her up its so quick and Oooooooooooo!
