Default Leather vs Cloth

Just an observation. The leather seats appear to be much stiffer than cloth. My rear end is little wider than the bucket of the seat so my thighs are up on the side bolsters. This makes it a little uncomfortable, but it is noticeably more uncomfortable on the leather seats. Do the leather seats loosen up over time? I'm looking at the Performance model right now so it may not be an issue, but if a touring to my liking becomes available, I may consider it. The difference in the seats right now is a cause for concern. Any thoughts?

The leather seats r stiff like u said...been having alot of lower back pain lately, wonder if its from the seat. My back/shoulder area doesnt fit well with the seat design, rests on the side support, similar to your problem.

Do hope the seats loosen/soften with time.

You two sound like a bunch of old ladies!!! The Z's seats aren't lazyboys....they are sports car seats. I like the stiffness to my leather seats and hope they never get droopy. I suggest going to the nearest drug store and picking up a couple doughnut seat cushions if you really can't bear it.

hahaha, my leather has loosened a bit since I first got it. but not really in the side bolsters, where my *** rests is a bit saggy tho. the sides are sposed to be firm, the alternative is you sliding all around when cornering.

I really wouldnt consider leather for this car. Leather is nice but...its just not something id want in my z. Too hot in the summer...too cold in the winter and you slide all over the place all year round. Id much rather go with the cloth and I like the carbon interior.

Lether is hands down twice as nice looking as cloth. (Especially my frost) As far as sliding around....are you guys wearing spandex pants or something??? I don't slide at all and I whip turns. (The sides of the seats keep you tucked in) As far as being cold in the winter....HEATED SEATS ARE STANDRD ON ALL 350Z LEATHER SEATS!!! As far as being hot in the summer...all car seats get hot in the summer if you park them in the sun. Thankfully I have a garage for my baby to keep cool in before I take her out to party on summer nights.

My seats are cloth, and I thought the same thing when I first sat in the car...the bolsters felt very tight and uncomfortable. I believe the seats mold to you and loosen up over time, because I never notice it now...they feel great. I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for leather.

Unfortunately I wanted a track and therefore didn't have the OPTION of factory leather.

Oh well, maybe I'll get aftermarket leather sometime.
