Default RedLine 350Z, Finally!

So after months and months of drulling over the Z, I finally bought one! And I believe I got a real good deal. I walked out with the car after paying it in full (yay no monthly payments). Walked out with a enthusiest RedLine 04.5 z for $21,865 OTD with 30k miles on it, no dents and clean carfax. I got it from Woodberry nissan in NJ, I drove almost 2 hours to get there. I recomend the dealership to anyone wanting to buy a nissan, they are vary nice and friendly and they will do anything to gain your buisness.

I would like to thank everyone on these forums for educating me in this topic and helping me find the right options and trim I wanted. I just wanted to say you guys are vary helpfull and now hopefully I can do the same for others since i own one.

For all of you out there searching!!! You can gt a good deal! OBTW they still have a 04.5 base black perfect condition with 15k miles for 22k OTD.

Oh I plan too!

Im going to go for the carbon fiber hood "GTR" wing, some 18" black rims with chrome lip. But for now till i get more finances in Im oging with a pop charger and maybe take out the CAT's. But I believe I will need new rims soon since my front tyres are still the same as factory.

Nice Sounds like you bought what I am currently in the market for as well... I noticed you are calling it an 04.5 model, was it sold as an '04 or an '05? And how can you tell apart a redline z from a normal one?

Why 18's and not 19's? I know it's personal preference but 19's just seem right on the Z.

Congrats! Wise color choice. Even wiser is the fact that you paid it in full. Good man!

An I called it an 04.5 b/c it is diferent from the early 04 Z's. I learned this at this site and hence why Im thanking everyone. As we all know there is a tire "F" problem with early Z's and the first attemp to fix this was in mid 04 production. there is a tread in these forum ware u can put in your VIN number and find out what it is. I strongly suggest that you look at 04.5+ models if you are in the market for one.

Another thing to keep in mind is that be weary of sighns of tire wear problem.

usually what the seller will do is have new tires on the car and sell it with low 10k miles on it. this will seam reasonable but take into consideration why there are new tires on 10k mile car. that is a clue that the car might have some problems.

To all of you new to these forums i suggest you to visit often like once a day and just read for 5min you will learn allot and save yourself a hardtime and money.

I trolled around these forums for 5months b4 i was totally comfortable with buying a Z.

Oh im working on some pics ASAP!

on topic of 18" vs 19"...

Its my opinion that 18" are better looking than 19", and the Freaking HUGE price difference between 18" and 19" dosnt justify it for me, we are talking like another 1k for just 1" more (tire+rims).

Wow, thats a pretty good deal you got. And I thought the 2003 touring I'm looking at for 20,800 and 32k was a good deal.

i agree the first thing i would do if i owned a 350 or g35 would be to strap on the fattest rims i could find 20" with like 315 tires. something crazy like that.

im on 19" racing hart's on my neon because thats the biggest it can go. but the advantage of the 350 that i dont have is the WIDE body you can put some huge tires that will grip and go!
