Default Coming from M3 smg to 350z !!!!

Well I must say after a long search of honda's, lexus's, bmw's, and many others, my search has finally come to an end with my newly purchased 03 le mans, auto, navi.

After putting up with an 03 m3 smg for 6 horrible months of sloppy shifts, horrible handling and incredibly loud exhaust I have come to realize that all that BMW crap is exactly how it is. Your paying for a premium name and getting NOTHING for it.

I have only 100 miles on this 350z and can not wait to start modding and joining this wonderfull comunity.

First mod will be RIMS!! Mine came with some "intersting" 19's. I'll post if you guys want to see them.

on the other hand, if you had SMG, and you were a sloppy shifter, why didnt you just drive auto? oh well.

What is a troll and why would I post such praise to a phenomial car?

The handling I was speaking of was it was bumpy in the straight aways but on turns it would lean heavily unlike the z handles bumps well, yet stays flat in the turns.

The problem with smg is its either a super fast shifter with tight clutch or very slow shifting. There is no happy medium like the z.

To give you an example.....

The fast shifting would clunk if you did not lift your foot of the gas pedal while "it shifted" for you.

And the slow shifting mode would "hang" for 2 seconds in between shifts.

All in all I am so happy with this car. Only grippe is the Audio! But that is a very small detail and happy to be the necissary mod.

Believe it or not the M3's center of balance is much higher than the z and tilts in turns usually kicking out the rear.

The z stays much flatter and has a better low end torque than the m3.

Yes the top end is nuts but I rarely drove in the very high rpms.
