I bought my 04 ZR pre-owned from a dealer in July. When I saw it on their website, it was advertised as an "Enthusiast" trim line. But when I went for the test drive, it appeared to have the features of the "Touring" trim line (leather/heated/power seats, BOSE w/ sub, steering wheel cruise controls, etc). I just chalked it up to a misprint in the dealer's website. I went to another dealer today to buy some touch up paint. I wasn't 100% certain that my color was Chrome Silver so I gave them the VIN to verify. The guy behind the counter thought he would try to impress me and said, "04 Base, manual transmission. Right?" To which I replied, "No, 04 Touring, automatic transmission." He insisted he was right and I insisted I was, especially considering I just stepped out of the vehicle 15 seconds prior to this conversation.

But it did get me wondering just what the hell trim I have. I wasn't even sure that the ZR came in a "Base" model. I thought they were only Enthusiast/Touring/GT

I can look up specific parts to see if they were factory equipped... MOST of the time the parts are vehicle specific to that VIN, but sometimes they are not...

Dude,

Checking your VIN# is YOUR responsibility...WHY on earth should we waste our time checking it out for you??

That's like asking "Can YOU check for ME who's got the lowest price on a Nissan Part?" MF..Like I got time for that...Get real.

Would appreciate it if someone could run a CarFax on 1N1RZ24ADLXD13292. If that doesn't work, try JN1RZ24ADLXD13292 as I believe the dealer may have posted it wrong.

Thanks

Cool

Now, now.

No need to get worked up over this, kids.

Go to google.com and do a search for "nissan vin decoder" and you will see a number of sites for this.
