Just ordered my Z
Hey guys. Just wanted to say that I just ordered my new 2003 Nissan 350z Enthusiast model! I got Silverstone and custom leather for $850 at the local upholstry shop. Total drive out price was $32,000. I got every option except aero package: kick plates, mats, splash guards). Damn, just tax alone was $1,800 dollars. I ordered from the local Nissan dealer here in Lubbock, Texas and expect it hopefully in December. I am pumped. As a proud owner of a 1990 ZX, I can't wait for my new one. Oh, NIZL, I can't wait to put in that custom stereo we talked about too!!

Lubbock is a fairly small town out in the middle of nowhere. They only had 10 people order Z's before me. You can still order Z's like you did with preorder. They just fax Nissan the bill slip in then they make it. I guess some dealers are so booked they can't do that? I am ready to get in my beautiful Silverstone. Thanks for the congrats so far

leather is not an option from the factory with the Enthusiast model. It is only an option with the touring model and you have to get an upgrade to 18" tires and a $1700 6MT option. That is why I got the Enthusiast model, with custom leather! It is going to kick ***!!

I ordered mine on 6/23, the same way Gish did but I don't live in a small town, I live in Long Island.
All I did sign an order sheet and put down a deposit. The dealer said I should get my car in by December, if the latest. And on the sheet it said Pre-Order (Factory Order) where it has a field for Stock#.
So I know I am getting it straight from the factory and not getting a dealer stock, so I still think there are opprotunities to pre-order a Z.
