I didn't bring a camera this time, but there were a bunch of people there that did. I'm sure we'll all be seeing pictures shortly. Besides, I don't think pictures would do it justice, it is truly spectacular.

Also this car had the side curtain air-bags: one deploys from the roof down, another deploys from the side of the seat forward.

Other interesting facts:

Car has alarm in addition to vehicle disable.
White car at meeting was a genuine production model, not pre-production.
3 Cars are currently in Arizona being torture tested at Nissan's proving ground.
Some aftermarket suspension parts should be available in October.
Drive computer has Avg MPG, Avg MPH, Outside temp, stopwatch, etc. and can display 2 readings at once.
Guages look absolutely awesome at night! Classic, yet very modern. Very classy looking.

since it was the final production, was the nav door still flimsy? not a big to me just asking.

Thanks,

According to the Nissan guy there: yes, every car comes with the alarm.

I would not call the door flimsy, but I would call it funky: it sort of rotates up and then slides in. To open you pull out and then rotate down.

Default Rear Strut Brace

Oh, also the strut brace with the Z on it: it is an integral part of the body, not bolted on. Underneath the plastic and aluminum is a solid piece of metal welded to the rest of the body. It cannot be unbolted or removed as it would interfere with the structural rigidity of the car.

They had a silver one there. I think it was the same as last time. Pre-production Silver Touring, loaded, 6MT, charcoal leather.

The white was a "production" car.

Default 18" rims and tires on Touring

The 18" on the touring manual trans looks a like a 17 " rather than 18" to me since there is a noticible gap (about 3 fingers) between the fender and the tire. Plus the fact that the rims are running 45 series tires makes the them looks smaller.

So if some of us are thinking about running 40 series or 35 series, you might need to rethink or recalculate the actual height of the stocks ( rear and front) vs the tires you want to run with. If you decide to run the same set up width wise (225 fronts and 235 rear) with either 40 series or 35 series, you get even a bigger gap.

Personality, I ordered the Enthusiast so that I can go with 18" aftermarket wheels. But after seeing the Touring with 18", I will either go with 19" or lower the car by .5-.75 inch to get the LOOK I want, which is about 2 fingers height.

NO FLAME, just personal observations!

btw, someone posted this link to check for your tire/rim combo

What is the color of the illumination on the production guages? The Nissan 360 animation appeared green but all pre-production cars appeared orange or yellow.

Unhappy

Well, I'm concerned. I'm not sure I like it. There is still too much black in there that doesn't mix well with the gray and I don't think the gray looks as good as it does on the Maxima. Does it look better in person? BTW, what color is the center stack? Is it still silver, because it looks black in these pics.

It looks a lot better in person!

The frost interior is not all uniform gray. The center waterfall is a darker gray. I think its better that way: if it were all sort of the same gray it would look bland. As it is the variations in gray add some contrast and interest.

Well you'll be in luck because aftermarket suspensions are coming out in October.

Default Pikes peak

I just saw the photos of the pp white on the other site. The pics are great! The white really looks great with the door handles. Too bad those wheels suck. The 6 spokes are much better looking. Oh yea...IMO this site blows the others away. Thanks Jmanz!
