Default Few ???'s

i tried searching but i guess i wasnt using the right words, if there are posts that talk about this pls post the link so i can read it. i plan on getting a 350z probably an 05, but my questions are

1. is the enthusiast package the only 1 that comes with a LSD? or do the other packages above it like the touring or track also come with LSD?

2. does the enthusiast package thats automatic also come with an LSD or are they only for the 6spd MT? and im guessing all auto's 2005-2006 are at 287hp and the 6spds are 300,

3. can you put the same amount of power on an auto tranny with upgrades as much as the 6spd?

4. are there any torque converters for the auto?

i want to get a used 05 enthusiast auto or stick, i just prefer auto cause im lazy and hate driving in traffic, even though the 6spd will be more fun.

thanx for any help.

Start here (it's a sticky in the 350 forum and should take care of 1 & 2):
https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/197329-the-top-100-common-questions.html

As for 3, with the right money, anything is possible. How much money are you looking to spend? Although you'll never get the auto to drive like the 6MT. Don't be lazy.

Hopefully someone else can help with 4.

so im guessing that the enthusiast only comes with LSD while the other models dont have and i guess it does come in auto stick

Enthusiast: Adds TCS, VLSD, Cruise Control, Auto-dimming rearview mirror, aluminum pedals, Illuminated audio controls on steering wheel. Availble with MT or AT.

im looking to spend about $5000-$10000 on the car in mods and hoping to get it to about 12s 1/4 in an auto.

thnx again for the help

Welcome to the forum. Get the 350Z first. This other stuff can wait.

Wow.. I toasted one of those on the way home from work yesterday.. my buddy has one and has had nothing but problems.

For $10K, go FI. One of the most common things I see on this board is guys kicking themselves for not going FI in the first place and blowing $5K+ on N/A upgrades.

Definitely go FI if your set budget is $5000-$10000.

I'd love to meet the guy that bought that Z. Either he needs to be shot or he's a true Z philanthropist and found a cause.
