37K in 4 years is pretty good. I only had 21K on my '01 Hyundai Tiburon when I sold it a few months ago. My '87 Hardbody on the other hand has over 440,000 (never been rebuilt).

Its been a long and winding road, but overall I have to say I still love the car. Its my 3rd Z, and will probably be the last car I buy for a while. I'll be getting a Vortech installed in the next few weeks, and that better last me for the next 5 years, or the wife will kill me.

37K miles and I still smile when I take an agressive corner!!!
Same here! My 4 year anniversary was August 24th. I was the 4th pre-order at my dealership, but took first delivery when the other 3 ahead of me dropped out during the 19 month wait. The car has attended every annual International Z Car Convention since delivery, and has been coast-to-coast! I just turned 80K miles on the odometer and she still runs sweet! I will take her to Hallett Raceway for another track session in a couple of weeks. This is my second Z, and both silver Zs are safely tucked away in the garage still.

Life is a journey, enjoy the ride!

cheers,
ChinaClipper

PS - Alang, what is your VIN# compared to my #00159?

Nice!!! Love to hear of cars that are driven like that.

My VIN is 891. It seems high for one of the first in the US, but its a Track model. I think the pre-order percentage of Track models was something 7%, so they didn't start building them right away.

What was your first Z?

My first Z sits in the garage with 208,000 miles on it. It is a 1972 Canadian-spec 240Z I bought when I lived in Seattle. Silver with a black interior = the same as my 350Z Track. I was on three Seattle Datsun dealership's waiting lists then which stood in the summer of 1972 at 3 to 6 months wait. On vacation with a friend in Vancouver Canada, I happened upon full lots of 240Zs gathering dust in dealer lots. The rest is history as I "imported" my car myself and drove her across the border.
240Z vanity plate reads: DATZUN
350Z vanity plate reads: NIZZAN

I've only put 45k on my car in 5 years and I drive it to work every day.

The beauty of having a short commute, I suppose.
