I only had my ZR for 4 months and already someone has hit me.... must have hit me in a parking lot. It was on the passenger side just behind the front wheel so I didn't even notice it for a day or so... sux!!


I'm just wondering if any of you have a any runs of bad luck with damage to your Z.

I also had a friend who bought a Z back in 04. She only had for 3 months and got nailed at a stoplight....

Is there some kind of Z curse??

 

I drive with garlic cloves under my seats. seems to work, no problems yet, but the smell takes a while to get use to

Maybe there is....I've only had mine about 2 months and already theres a chunk of paint missing from pass. door, and a huge ding on the pass. front quarter panel. Also, about 2 1/2 weeks ago I hit a mutant raccoon on the way to work (it was the size of a dog). So I ordered an Aerosync front end and am getting the other stuff fixed at the same time. Just a PITA in general. I am switching to my POS Infiniti G20 as my daily driver so I don't have to shell out more cash for this lack of respect BS and random animal crap. Maybe I could find a priest to bless it.....

I think there is a curse, I was watching a movie the other day, this guy in a black mask keep going around and slicing a "Z" into everyone's chest.

 

in the last 3 months i've had someone rear end me at a stop light, i've had wasp killer sprayed all over my car and baked into the paint and my rear bumper hit while someone was pulling into the garage.

I have had my car now for a year. In that time I have had it egged, hit a 5 gallon bucket that blew onto the road in a wind storm, had a vette kick up some wood chuncks that messed up the front bumper even more, had a street sweaper fling a rock across 5 lanes of trafic to chip the front window. And if that wan't bad enough, all the parts that I have ordered so far have had some problem too. Intake was on back order, rims came in with only 3 sets of decals, exhaust was ordered from a sponser, and after 2 weeks I called them up to see were it was, and they hadn't shipped it. But will all the bad luck I still love my Z.

 

have it blessed. stuff stoped happening after i had the car blessed.

Buy a few gallons of Water, invite Father McGillicutty over and have him formally bless the water (NOW it's Holy Water!! YAY!!)

Then, generously douse the Z in the sacred water! You are now protected from all evildoers...and demented mutant racoons (for the guy in NY!)

No bad luck with the Z.. I did with my 2000 prelude tho... Had a guy back into the rear quarter panel while I was parked when it was 3 weeks old, I was actually still sitting in the car so I was able to get his insurance info.. Otherwise you know he would of taken off... Then two weeks after I got that fixed I came out of my office to see someone backed into the rear bumper and punched a hole in it.. Of course they didn't leave any insurance info..

 

I just have an automotive curse. I've hit 3.5 deer (the .5 was a deer carcass in the middle of the road at 70mph 3 weeks after I got her), I've had like 9 tickets, and two hit and runs, all in the course of like eight years of driving.

*Sigh*

 

I had the wood chips flung at me by an SUV in front of me a week after I had it. THen I hit an Audi 2 weeks later when I was in a rush parking in front of my house.(I left note and am paying for damages) Then, a dog jumped out into the middle of the street and hit it. (Lucky dog is ok-found owner and he is paying for damages. Just got quote today. $1100.00) It was a big freaking dog.

Someone hit my Z hard in a parking lot a few months back. I mean my front bumper was ripped apart. My front rim was bented. And I guess my car did a 180? And I was only gone for 15 minutes!!!
