Default Big Freakin' Surprise!

So as none of you know (since I don't post here much)...I have been working my ***** off for extra cash to afford me the Touring package Z...I only had the cash for base. I went home from college this weekend for my birthday, and whaddya think was sitting in the driveway...

My parents dropped the extra cash on me and picked up the car! I was so damned excited. I took it everywhere, got tons of interesting comments from people hanging around New Orleans for Mardi Gras I now also have a handful of cash I earned the hard way to dispose of on accessories and mods!

I will be writing up some sort of review soon -- my previous car was a Boxster S, and since a lot of folks seem to compare the two I figure it'd be a good writeup.

I just finished getting back to school in the car, which now has about 925 miles on it! I am loving every minute of it, although it is a much different car than the Boxster S

Comparison/Review to follow!

Didn't sell it. My old lady drives it now :P I think that's why she was so happy to pay off the touring package

When I go home for spring break in 2 weeks I will match up the cars for some photos!

I will work on the review later tonight.

Congrats on your new Z. Sounds like you've got some great parents, and sounds like you really appreciate them.

Good story. Drive safe!

I do! But I'd rather not get into a financial pie flinging contest because it makes everyone look like a 5-year old. I'm on these forums because I like you folks and this car a lot, I'm not here to brag about anything in particular.

That aside, I'm going to get on writing that review...cheers!

Congrats, have a great time with your new car. When I was 16 my dad gave me a big surprise too. He has his own dealership and there was this used Honda I wanted, he surprised me and only charged me cost(every penny of my paper route money).
