Default How To Remove The Battery

Has anyone removed the battery from their Z.

Does the entire plastic cover have to come off.

I was thinking of getting a optima battery to replace the oem.

I replaced mine 2 weeks ago. Took me 20 minutes and I'm not real handy with the wrench so to speak. I had my R4 box next to the battery for the Vortech and without that I probably would have done it faster. Its way easier if you take off the plastic trimming around the battery cover.

I took mine off for long term storage, takes some time, but its not that hard. I believe you do have to take the plastic housing off, its been 6 months, I forget!

Also, ensure you get the right Optima Battery with the correct terminals!
