Default how much power do 5at lose to the rear wheels compared to a manual

how much horsepower do the 5at lose to the rear wheels compared to a manual. I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this question because i wanted to see what the big difference woulld be once upgrading.

Its very minimal. Manual is about 20% parasitic drivetrain loss, and Auto is about 26%

Your number are off. Average hp for a MT is around 240-245rwhp stock, while for auto its 230

Horsepower at the drive wheels? An additional 5 percent.

So you looking around 10-15 hp...

I'm actually thinking about swapping my DB 2004 Touring 5AT for a Red 05 Manual with less miles (19k) and about 1 k more than what i owe now...

Based on factory figure, 5 AT Z33 is rated at 287hp so with 20% drivetrain loss (average) it will put you to be around 229.60rwhp.
