Kelly can tell you the exact numbers he was putting to the wheels.

I'm pretty sure it was putting around 400 hp to the wheels +/- 10 hp . If you take 18% drivetrain loss that's pretty close to 500 crank hp. Obviously the gearing and weight of the two cars are different.

I PM'd you my home number. Give me a call and we can talk about the car. It wouldn't have the power that your 996 TT had, but unless you're tracking the car, the HP is probably going to be close enough that you won't miss the few HP difference.
