Default My "old" Z is gonna be back on the market soon

Hey guys. This is NOT a "for sale" post, just a heads up. The modified 350Z, which I sold to buy my Viper just about 2 months ago, is going to be up for sale again here shortly. The gentleman who bought it from me ran across some financial difficulties and needs to sell the car. If you think you might be interested in making him an offer, PM me and I will put you in contact with him. He is an older gentleman who owns several other high HP cars (including a Supra and a Mustang track car). Here is a list of the mods on the car:

Wheels: Axis Milano, 19" (+15/+20 offset)
Tires: Bridgestone S-03 245/35-19 / 275/35-19
Suspension: Eibach Pro-kit springs (Drop: .8" front / 1.2" rear)
Body Kit: Vizage / JP Aero Type-A
Hood: Seibon VT Painted Carbon Fiber
Door Conversion: Vertical Doors, Inc.
Data: Defi D-Link Boost/EGT Gauges w/ Link-Controller-II
Seat: WetOkole Neoprene
Tint: 35/50
Shift ****: Nismo Aluminum

Forced Induction: Turbonetics Single Turbo w/ Spearco Intercooler
Exhaust: Modified GReddy EVO2 Dual-pipe
Engine Management: GReddy Emanage Ultimate w/Pressure Sensor, Altered Atmosphere Return Fuel-System , RC 440cc injectors, Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump ,
Boost Control: Blitz SBC-iD
Additional Electronics: Autosport ECU Harness

Here are a few pictures, more at the URL at the bottom of this post:

Cool! I'm sure someone around here will appreciate your heads up!

I question your sanity switching to a viper(or maybe mine?), but hey, to each their own!

I definitely wish I had the money to keep the Z when I bought the Viper, but I just couldn't do it. I love the Z, and I was happy it went to a good home. I hope it once again goes to someone who will take care of it.

The Viper is a different animal altogether. I just ordered a Corsa exhaust and Random-tech cats for it. Can't wait to put it all on. You can't beat 500 ft-lbs of torque at just 3600 RPM.

I remember reading a magazine a few years back where they cooked eggs on the side skirt that covers the exhaust pipes... ouch!

My buddy's wife is going to rent him a SRT-10 for their 5th anniversary and in order to keep it a surprise, she's going to let me pick it up and drop it off at their house... WOOHOO...

How much is he looking to get. Either way I'm sure its going to be way out of my range. So consider this a bump?

Thanks for the bump. This is not a "for sale" post, so I cannot list a price, and I'm not sure what he's asking. I believe he's going to Ebay the car, but I'm sure he'd consider any serious offers.

Yep, the catalytic converters and pre-mufflers run right inside the skirt (sill), which is the only metal body panel on the car. They can get VERY hot, and in fact there is a big warning sticker in the door sill warning you not to touch that area. It only really gets that hot after hard driving in my experience. The Random-tech cats are supposed to cool things down considerably.

The SRT-10, while not as good looking as the GTS (IMO) is a beast...enjoy your drive!

Yep...UGR is quite well known in the Viper community. I think I'm going to keep this one pretty mellow though. I had enough insanity with the Z.

You will soon forget and start again. If you don't want twins, a SC will put you at 700rwhp.

KC and Keith are good fellas. Believe it or not they put a vortec on a G35 when they first came out!

It wouldn't be fair to the current owner for me to list what he paid for it. It was somewhere north of $30K though, yes.

Yeah, the other bee in this picture:

has a Roe twin-screw blower on it with no intercooler, but water/meth injection. It's insanely fast. The guy who owns it has not had it on the dyno, did the install in his garage and street tuned the car himself. Pretty amazing.

Kelly:
I was interested in your car. I am an even "older" gentleman! Has the clutch been upgraded? What else can you tell me about the car? What HP at the crank? I am coming from owning a 996 TwinTurbo with over 500HP at the crank! How would your old Z stack up?
