They said Grand Touring! The gt roadster is $42,000, trust me. You would never be able to buy at $26,000.

That's not a photoshop. The car was taken away from a guy because of a few laws he broke with his mods. The cop turned it into a pursuit car. No need for backseats with a pursuit car.

Yes, the Elise should be in the top 5

I'm guessing that the Viper probably finished out of the top 10 for the same reasons...

Is it me or CNN can't even comment on a list correctly: http://www.cnn.com/2006/AUTOS/08/30/...ars/index.html
Here are some of the errors that they made:
-"The prices of the eight cars in the magazine's most recent tests ranged from $45,545 for a Lotus Elise to $105,855 for a Mercedes-Benz SL550."
The lowest of the prince range should be the 350Z ($42,800)
-The list is obviously a wider range of cars then "super cars", but CNN keeps using "super cars", if the list was super cars, we would see more exotics than the list has on it.
-"The Lotus Elise, the cheapest car on the list, ranked last because of its extreme nature. The Elise's ride is extremely harsh and getting in and out of the tiny, low-slung car is difficult."
Like mentioned before, the Lotus Elise is not the cheapest on the list.

Gotta remember, this is CR, not a car magazine. CR rates cars based on comfot, reliability, maintainence and repair costs, safety, etc... They don't rate cars based on 1/4 mile performance or skidpad numbers.
