VQ RB26 OR 2JZ (feeler)
im thinking about buying a motor to build for my 06 350z. has a 2jz ever been put in a 350z and if so where can i find how to do it. i know the rb26 has been swpped but where can i find out how to do that as well. ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT I CAN DO
By the time you get done fabricating everything for a 2jz motor to work, the money you would have to spend could have made your Z one of the fastest if not the fastest on this board. It's a cool idea if you have your own shop and lots of time, to do it for ****s and giggles. But in reality it's just a waste of money imo, considering what you could turn the VQ into.

get a cheap sr20................wait thats already been done.........
Just say no to tha 2jz hype. Your VQ has so much potential after building up the internals. Good luck to you in whichever route you choose to take.

Like everyone else has said, unless you have stupid amounts of money and you have an immune skull for all the headaches you will run into, it will be very stupid of you to attempt this. Dont be an idiot, Build your VQ and twin turbo and you will make ridiculous power.
People underestimate the stock block. You will barely even get traction from a N/A block with a TT running perfect in the 11s and possibly 10s. And why would you do that to a brand new car? Don't tell me you have a Civic...
