Can anyone give me some advice or suggestions of what i should do other than getting a 6 speed.
Its the diff that is different between auto and MT so u need to swap diffs with MT and 1 will b happy to do so with u.

The 3.5FD with vlsd improves acceleration at 1st through 3rd and make you lose power/tq at 4th & 5th?

So when I'm on the freeway I wont have as much power at 4th & 5th as I would if I keep the 3.3FD? Oh one of my main question is how is the gas comsumption? The Z kills enough at 25/19...would the swap make it worse?

Just gathering knowledge since I will be getting a Z soon. I just want some minor upgrades.
Your 4th will pull like your 3rd. I have not really paid attention to my gas mileage since that's not one of my concerns when I bought the Z. Even still, I get more than 20+ miles per gallon.

I just got mine swapped for a 3.5fd and my mpg is still great. I get about 1 mpg less on average than before, simply beause Im in the power band more.
