Default .88g revisited again!

I took this out of another thread:

R&T: (On the Non supercharged Mini Cooper w/15's)
.Our slalom test revealed that the Mini can thread through the cones with moderate understeer and keep a blistering average speed of 67.6 mph, besting any current BMW, any Ferrari, and most Porsches. (w/15-in tires) . The skidpad test showed the modest steady-state grip of the Cooper's winter tires, with the car exhibiting heavy understeer and barely holding on at 0.79g. Just imagine what lower-profile higher-performance standard 15-in. dry-weather tires would do to improve the Mini's cornering grip.

How about 17-in and a super charged Engine?

Anyway, I too will be buying a 350Z, in about two years, when it is a convertable and/or comes with a supercharged engine.

Enjoy the Z's guys! Baddest car out there, for real
The Mini S is no lightweight either at about 2700lbs but it really proves a point I tried to make a while back about the Z when everyone was complaining about only .88g. Steady state cornering #'s do not equal great handling. And you CAN have a fast slalom even with a miserable G number as illustrated above.

Here is what I have to say about the stupid magazine reviews of cars. They've always been biased, and it seems everyone else things so to:

ABC News Article on Car Magazine Reviews

Think about it honestly. How often have you really read scathing negative comments about a car (that weren't so obviously known to the mass consumer and not the web forum junkie) in a magazine that advertises for the car maker being reviewed? And then adjust it for the "top 10 best" reviews compared to the amount of money spent by each advertiser.

Write a bad review and never get invited back to Spain for free? Write a good review and get perks? Sounds biased to me.
