Rear view cameras… revisited… the good and the bad?
I am planning a CES upgrade, and part of this is adding a rearview camera (maybe a front-view/side-view as well). I did search, and found a great deal of information about rearview cameras. Since the majority of what I discovered (messages located in the search) is somewhat older; I would like to revisit this, hoping for more current information.
My questions:
Thanks for your input and opinions.

My questions:
- Does anyone have a rearview camera that they really like?
- Does anyone have comments about rearview cameras that they dislike?
Thanks for your input and opinions.

My opinion is that they are worthless. I still have to double check behind me through the windows when backing out so there really is no need. They only rearview cameras i like are from the new Lincolns. They actually have two lines that show where your car is actually going so you can't hit anything.
^^ I’ve become accustomed to using a rearview camera… mainly because I cannot see much out of the rear window with my Jeep Commander. I also have the “sonar” device in the Jeep’s rear bumper, and that is helpful.
Of course I always twist my neck to look, but the camera is a great aid.
