I'll echo that.
But to be nice I'll add .02.
First thing I plan on doing.... ALARM AND CLEAR BRA.
If you like flyin down the highway you may want a radar detector. V1.
Tint the windows.
As for cheap power.... Spacer, exhaust and intake. Then worry about suspension. All that should take you awhile...

+1 to alarm ($200+ preferrably) + clear bra

Then I would go w/ car cover (if you have no garage) and a concealed weapons liscense

im gogint to hijack this thread because its worthless, and the possibility of making a new thread for this question may be worthless to,

but anyway, how much give does the clutch have from the friction point to the floor? ive always been one to depress the clutch way past the friction point and was hoping maybe i would get lucky and the z would not have to much between the two

that's something that you have to test. It's all about feel. You can be used to a different car and push the clutch all the way in, but with the Z you have to find the (what I like to call) "sweetspot" and you'll see how much give the from the floor to the friction point will be.

If you want my opinion just get wheels and tires, that's all a Z really needs to look fan-spanking-tastic.

Performance mods are super expensive for what you get... I urge you to become accustomed to the car in every way before you start shopping for performance mods.

Also I think you may find some useful information by clicking the link in my signature. It may answer some of your future questions.

1. Wheels and tires - 1,000-3,000 dollars
2. JWT Popcharger- 120 dollars
3. Finding Search button - Priceless!

agreed, take the time to get to know the driving characteristics of a stock Z before you start modding it then if you are going to mod it pick a direction and have a plan of where you want to get too....btw, you just bought one of the more expensive cars to mod, parts for our cars are not cheap by any stretch of the imagination....
