i got a key scratch on my passenger door that goes from one side to the other, good thing it was only on the door and not more panels. im getting my passenger door repainted and getting all the rock chips fixed in the front bumper and hood for about 400 big bummer, sorry about your car too though
8 foot long thru the front fender, passenger door, and rear fender. had it most buffed out and front fender painted. you can still see the scratch in the door handle
i got a few i was pissed my newest one was yesterday when i woke up to go work on my buddies S2000. I always do a quick walk around my car befor i drive off. and thats when I saw it now the fourth scratch on my passenger door!! ohh i its a key scratch alright.damn haters!! >:[
got mine keyed a few months back all down the passenger door...waiting to get a spoiler first then going to paint it along with the door....also a few door dings on both sides.....Key marks show up nicely on blue.
If you don't drive to Walmart, cheap grocery stores, malls, ect.. most key events will stop. Only the lamest of all the loosers do that kind of thing to someone's car who they don't even know. Now if it's a angry chick you might have punked, well that's another story
I've had my sh*t keyed many times in other vehicles but after not going to the above mentioned places the problem has gone away.
Don't take your carbon fiber 350Z with mods to a nascar events, flea markets, swap meets..lol
My passenger door was keyed badly about 2 months after I bought the car new (summer '04). The scratch went all the way to the primer - it was a sad day. Cost me over $500 to get it looking like new. But I'm a firm believer in karma... whoever did this to my car will get theirs someday :-)
