Default Cheap Furious Invasion chip

The feedback on this eBay seller is saying it works. I usually don't look at stuff like this but buyer feedback is usually pretty honest. Has anybody used this? $19.99 for a 15-25HP gain? Wow, I wonder if it's true?

Well I am sucker for cheap HP gains. I just bought one and will be taking my Z to the DYNO this weekend anyway. So I will see if it does anything or not. I will be going this saturday and will update then.

Cool, can't wait to see your results. If this actually delivers what it says then that is the same or more HP gain than a $800 aftermarket chip. Only thing that concerns me is that it doesn't matter what tranny, manual or AT. Most chips are tranny specific to the best of my knowledge.

I believe I saw a thread where a member bought a chip like this once. He took it all apart and it turned out to be a huge resistor. Goodluck. I can gaurantee you there is no kind of "Advanced Circuitry" in that freakin thing.

Yes, 99.9% of the time those black box thingie on Ebay that claim HP increase are nothing but a resistor to alter electronic signal going to the ECU to run leaner map. Alot of times it clamps the air flow signal to a specific spot on the map.

For the person going to the dyno, make sure you hook up a wide band to measure the air fuel ratio under WOT. There is no substitute for ECU chip tuning, closest thing are like the Domestic OBD II programmer that flashes the ECU with pre-set tuned mappings. However, Nissan is known not to come with ecu chip that's flashable without installing a daughter board setup.

Not only will this not add any HP, if you have any other mods, you're probably already a little lean. This will make you run even leaner. It could actually harm your engine.

Tell me y'all were joking in buying this piece of crap and then willing to spend more money dynoing it...these superglued pieces of crap resistors don't do anything for your car.
