Does the cluster actually control anything in the VDC or TCS?

I can't say with 100% certainty, but I don't believe the cluster has anything to do with the system; it should just be the diff. light label. Reason it's different is the one that says VDC came from a 6MT, while the TCS one came out of an Auto car.

 

so VDC was not standard on all cars.. thanks that answered my question
