Yeah, I saw a few Z's this weekend....one guy my age and the rest were older ladies....haha
It's funny because when I bought my car my mother in law was jealous, she really wanted one too.
So did my mom....
Well, my dad wanted one before me but he was always into the Z's. He had an old datsun growing up and followed the Z's.
He about crapped his pants when I showed up at his house with it the first day and let him drive it.

What I have noticed is with other Z owners instead of waving they try and race me. Im just shocked and awed. I mean be serious. They dont see the freaking FMIC up front. DUH! Same goes for G35 owners here in town. They are even worse. WHERE IS THE LOVE?

i don't really wave to Z drivers any more since there are so many in my area. I only wave to other Z drivers who are heavily modded.

There is this other guy in my area that is pushing 900+HP. i always wave to him since we're both at the freeway on ramp around the same time in the morning.

Here in Socal Gs and Zs are everywhere, I waved and gave thumb ups to every Z I see. The only thing i observed is that only moded Z owners waved back and many stock Z owners who waved back are mostly over 30s, not many teenagers react to me.

My goodness...which planet are you from that thinks there is such a thing as two identical chicks??? (no disrespect intended)... either you haven't dated much or you are presenting an impossible hypothetical scenario.. ie. DREAMING.

BTW.. I usually get waves back from other Z drivers... except this one older dude who lives in my neighborhood -- he drives a roadster so he's too cool to wave I guess.

My first car was a 1972 240Z, so I have given many a thumbs up and wave to those Z drivers who obviously know what piece of auto history they are driving -- I usually get a thumbs up or wave back.

I just saw my optometrist today... he drives an 03' black Z. Kinda cool... First I asked if that was his Z, congratulated him, then we both said we looked familiar. Small world huh.

Around Seattle there are not many Z's at all. But the few there are do not wave. Bought my Z in April, been waved to once!

I only saw one other Z today. I waved, he waved, neither of us got pulled over by the thousands of state troopers that were wandering around. Life is good. LOL

Havent been waved at yet. But did get a thumbs up for a Z owner, and a few headlight flashes from Z's coming the other direction.

I work near Woodinville and I see a Z maybe once a week or so. Now if I drive around Bellevue I see a few.

I have seen a lot of 300Z's lately. Those things are pretty sweet. I passed one the other day and gave him the nod.

Wow, I guess I've seen the impossible in real life then - they're called identical twins.

About half the people will wave or acknowledge. I usually hit my lights before I wave.

its not good to flash your lights because they're xenon. they need time to warm up before shutting off. i was told you shouldnt 'wink' with HID lights. that will decrease the life expectancy of your bulbs.

hmm.. usually when you're on the road at night.. they're already warmed up?
I also thought that the xenon lights do not get brighter. They just expand the illuminosity (light shield that moves up and down). If you turn on your brights at night they dont get brighter, you just have the same illuminosity but covering more surface area, not sure if it will decrease the lights life expectancy, but it won't hurt to wink at a few.

Here
