Nissan Paint Litigation

Man, I don't know about this. What is the "defect" they are talking about? If it is a cosmetic problem present from the day the car was purchased, then I say TOUGH **** to the person who bought the car. They should have noticed the problem and refused delivery. If the problem is something that happens over time, like fade or peeling, then I understand the lawsuit.
So, any details? The only problem I've heard on the Z is orange peel, but ever since I heard about it at this forum, I've been checking out all the other brands of cars on the road (and in the parking lots) and I've yet to see one without similar peel as the Z. It is disappointing, but it sure isn't a defect (I know some people have it worse than others, but IMO that should be handled on a case by case basis, not by a Class Action Suit.
