Purchasing a 350z 06 or wait for 07
What's up?
Ever since I bought my 05 Altima SER. I been amazed with the VQ35 engine and it's potential. Now I am seriously thinking of getting the 350z due to it's handling and reputation. I know that for the 07 the aftermarket parts for the new engine will take a while to de develop, not for the current vehicle. Will you guys wait for the vq35hr engine to be release for the 350z or buy the current 350z due to its aftermarket performance parts available.
Here is a list of parts spend on my SER so far:
Mods:
Apexi S-AFC II
Stillen exhuast mufflers
AEM CAI with bypass
Hotshot headers
Hyper Voltage System GT with AT ground wires.
Unerthodox Pulley
Kinetix SSV
Stillen Strut Tower
Eibach Sportline with camber kit
Custom Koni Sport Front Struts
Crown Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Stillen slotted and drilled rotors
Custom 3'12" JBL subwoofer with amplifier.
AT S5 Front Grill

Up to you, depends on how much extra you want to pay, and also how patient you are for the mods to be developed. Mods will come out rather fast because the 350Z has a high demand for aftermarket parts though.

If your going to completly mod it right away I would just go ahead and get a good deal on a 06' model... If you plan on staying stock for awhile then I would wait for the 07'

(Scroll to the very bottom of the page for the 350Z info.)
This is the only authoritative info I've seen so far about changes for the 2007 350Z, and the details are pretty scarce. Hopefully we find out more about the new model soon!
