Default How many people don't drive their Z in the rain?

Pretty much what the title says! I've only had my Z a few weeks and i am making a solid effort not to drive her on anythign but dry roads. The person who had her before me must have done the same cause with 30,000 on her you can still eat off any part under the hood and underbody!! All metal still shines bright!

Guess i'm just a clean-aholic! LOL I'l like her to be clean all over not just the paint and wheels. And driving my work car when the weather isn't lookign so good, is a sure way to help her stay that way. Obviously there are times when you can't help it. Luckily i live in Va Beach so i don't run into salt or snow very often.

.....My son.... You have taken on the first challenge of assuming "Road God" status....

The next challenge is to show thineself worthy of the title....... by out running a fast moving rainstorm(lest droplets of rain tarnish thine most recent coat of wax).

I don't drive my Z in the rain. I commute by train everyday so it makes it easy not to.

Don't you have salt in the air coming off the ocean?

For those that complain about traction problems in the base model.....you shouldn't be on the road in dry conditions either.

You just have to know the limits and how the car reacts to different inputs/situations

I try not to because I would rather just drive my Alti when it rains saves me cleaning my car and my volks.

You know you can have a lot of fun driving in the rain, even heavy rain halfass872, as long as your Z isn't riding on RE040's, then take care.

I smoke but not in my car and not even with the window open with my head hanging out! I'll stop and get out, helps me not smoke anyways.

As for rain, that's the least of your worries! Bird poo, road tar, rocks, other drivers, etc... Them will trash your car!

Smoking in the Z is a sin. You should be flogged for defiling her like that. I have to drive in the rain as its my only car. I'm just really careful when I take off around corners, and make sure not to accelerate when I see like a layer of water. Had some close calls but hey nothing scares me anyways lol
