Default 35th Anniversary Edition

I have heard conflicting reports about how many HP the AT has. Can someone confirm this.
Also does the 35th Anniv. have the VDC or just the TCS.

What unique features does this 35th Anniversary Edition bring to the table over other models.

The "Search" thinger is pretty helpful

the side Z emblems have a glossy black background with a champagne-colored rim.

there is an optional black with tan leather seats option with SB and SS 35th anniversary seats.

The stock wheels are the same as the 06 base models, with gold brembos behind them.

Redline on the tach is 7000rpms (only on track and 35th anni M6 trannies in 05)

the floor mats say "Z 35th"
and I think ~ 300hp, VDC = MT and TDC = AT

I thought all 35th had the rev-up engine?

As for other things that set it apart:
-all the features of the touring and Track models combined: leather, heated seats, bose, aero package, Brembos; no rays rims, though, and dunno about the rear underbody diffusers. The wheels that are standard on all models in '06 (non-rays) were exclusive to the 35th in '05.
-Two-tone leather
-the "Z" badges on the sides of the car are gloss black with a slightly bronzed ring, as opposed to the reg flat black/silver ring.

Autos still have the 287 engine, even in 06, so if you see a 35th anniversary in AT, it's the old 287 engine, non-revup.

Nowehere in any of the Nissan press releases and specs does it specifically mentioned what the 35th AT has. I downloaded them all from the nissannews.com website. Everything says 35th, 300HP. But I would assume that the AT has 287.

The 35th AT has full VDC.

I'll have to look at my tach when I get home to see where the redline is.

The Z®‘s rebellious spirit continues stronger than ever in 2005 with the arrival of a special 35th Anniversary 350Z offering 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, Brembo® brakes, front chin spoiler, rear spoiler, available two-tone leather-appointed seats and a choice of three exterior colors, including a new Ultra Yellow. The 35th Anniversary 350Z will also feature a higher level of horsepower.

Nissan North America, Inc. this week marked the 35th anniversary of the debut of the original Datsun 240Z sports car by announcing details of the special Nissan 350Z 35th Anniversary model. The commemorative model, one of six 350Z Coupe models offered in 2005 (along with three 2005 Nissan 350Z Roadster models), is highlighted by a higher performance version of the Z®’s standard 3.5-liter V6. The engine, which is available only with the 6-speed manual transmission, produces 300 horsepower versus the standard 287-horsepower V6.

No AT transmision has VDC. All AT's have only TCS and 287hp.
