i miss it NOT =D. believe it or not, after i graduate college im thinking about OCS. my sgt major already talked to me and said he recommend me.

 

I wanted to do that but after all the BS I saw officers make us do including things that got people killed or could've I want no part of a group of guys who don't generally do ****, never deal with the bs of an enlisted person yet make more and automatically command respect from people who have earned it.

Only way I would do it is to get a guarenteed slot as an infantry officer and and then at least two combat deployments in my first 4 years.

Iwakuni isn't to bad you can hop on the train and go anywhere you want. I have no idea what the libo is like anymore there wasn't a cerfew for anybody back in 02. Plus its small just like MCAS Newriver if your into asian women its a good place to be.

Lol I was one of the first to move into those barracks in 99 when we got back from Kosovo, don't feel bad it was still just a barracks and you can imagine what good ole feild day was like in a brand new barracks.

Yea well at least you didn't worry about failing for mold that had been in the buildings since like WW2. Seriously there were a few rooms that were locked because they were infested with mold. Most our AC didn't work lol. We seriously had some ****ty barracks. Hell the first floor lounge had a leak from somewhere and at least 2 times a month the laundry room, lounge and bathroom on the first deck would flood.
