Default Pics of my Stereo, Interior, Rims, Etc

I thought I'd post some pics of my custom stereo and interior. These were taken before my Nismo Cams and Exhaust were installed and when the car was pretty dirty. I just couldn't wait to take some pictures.

What I'm looking for is some input for future (next month) upgrades. I will be putting it in a few shows and such. I'm not looking for advice on performance upgrades. I bought an AT Roadster to cruise, put in shows, etc, but not to race. I put Nismo Cams, Nismo Exhaust, and AEM intake on for fun, and it's fast enough for me. I had an 05 Coupe that was fast, but had MANY problems with it, so I traded it in.

Anyway, let me know what you think of the current setup and what I might add for some shows. Thanks in advance!

Painted Interior:

Pioneer Avic Z1 with Ipod hook up and Bass switch:

Custom Fiberglass Enclosure with 2 MTX TA8500 10", hidden Pioneer Rev's:

Custom Amp display with Z logo, blue LED lights, Blue Neon Lights, MTX TA7801, TA5604, Earthquake Capacitor, and Street Wires Fuse Box:

MTX Mid's and High's and Painted door panelling/billets (whatever they are called):

Reverse Camera:

Exterior Pics, Nitto 555 Extremes, 20" Concept Neepers (staggered):

Most of these pics are ****-poor and have bad lighting, but I snapped them in a hurry. I will take some better pics soon and include pics of the rest of my upgrades/mods. The only visible mods in the engine are AEM intake, Nismo Oil Filler Cap, Nismo Radiator Cap.

Thanks JClit. I'm saving up for next month, then it's back to work on her. Any advice for what to do at that time?

Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's great to be a part of a group that loves the Z cars. I took my car to the Pavilions in Scottsdale, AZ a few weeks ago (a classic and custom car show) which is not judged and got some nice feedback on the car. What would be awesome is some feedback on what I can do to it before putting it into a judged competition. I have no idea how I would do, or anything, but I hope it will do well.

I'm also considering a stereo competition. I think it would do very well for its class.

USN HM- I don't think I'm going to be voiding my warranty with this one, because of the hassles I had with my coupe, so FI is out until after warranty expires.

Suvlaki- What about leather stitching or inserts? I was unsure how plain all black leather would look. Have you seen any DB Z's with the black leather? Anyone have pics of their black leather interior in a blue Z?

Nice Ride!

You should check out AZ350Z.com this is a local site that we have.

Are you going to HIN on the 14th, at Firebird Raceway?

I've seen that site before, but I didn't see any info on joining the group (membership fees, discounts to the group, etc) and there were no events on the calendar for like 12 months, so I wasn't sure what was up. I'll check it out again, maybe I missed what I was looking for.

I've thought about going to HIN and printed out the info to enter the show, but I have to get a 12V battery, power inverter, and figure out how to hook it up. My car shows way better when powered due to the lighting and such. I'm going to ask the custom shop that did the work for me about this. If I decide to go, maybe we could meet up there.

Looks great. Does your interior match 100% with your exterior? Regardless that looks real nice.

I Like you Z a lot! Very very sharp!!! The Pioneer Avic Z1 looks great too. I want to do that asap. I'm curious tho....can you get the unit to play DVDs or Music Videos on it main screen. I know Pioneer says no , but can you by pass or jury rig it to do that some how????????

No fee's, and we have a lot of venders that are local that support AZ350Z. The site has been lazy about updating the events calender, but they get together a few times a week.

Theatrix- All of the work on my car was done at Reality Custom Designs in Tempe, AZ. MTX didn't think they would be able to fit the 8500s behind the seats, but the airspace is perfect. The ports are even moulded into the box in one piece.

Mykel- The color is a perfect match. The paint they used is all top quality to prevent cracking/chipping.

Z1Truth- YES! You can set it up. The work around is to basically trick the system into thinking the parking brake is on. If you look at the picture of my IPod connection, there are 2 switches there. The top one turns the reverse camera on, the second one turns the DVD player on. You have to play with the Avic Z1 to believe how awesome it is. Though, I haven't even learned how to do everything on it yet.

Bverschage- That sounds like a good group then. How do I join? I don't see it on the site.

go to the main page, click on AZ350Z message board, on the next page you will see a banner for the AZ store. On the top part of the banner you will see the botton for register.

Eric89- I bought everything through the same people, so it was cheaper, but I found them online for a pretty good price. That is, if you trust the site and don't get screwed on shipping costs. Just google for Concept Neeper Moxy's. They have a website from the manufacturer too, and they have other really nice rims.

Thanks for the props!
