What are you paying for 93 Octane?
The war with Iraq is starting to hit my pockets and no bombs are even flying yet. It cost me $34 bucks to fill up my Z today. My area is at $1.91 per gallon for 93 Oc. I know there's probably a lot of places higher especially on the West coast. With summer coming it's going to get a lot worse. THANK GOD FOR MY BEATER.

Gas is only gonna get higher once the war really starts. Which Begs a question a few people think is stupid, is 91 octane the lowest a Z can safely run on. You may not think 10 cents is a big difference now, but wait a month and lets see what the prices are then.

$1.89-$1.92 in the flatlands of Colorado for premium. The same price gets you regular in the mountains, and premium is probable $2.25/gal or so up there.

$1.86 this morning at Chevron for 93 octane. independent brands are maybe $0.10 less.
I was in South Alabama last week and Chevron was about $0.20 less than here but then it's closer to the coast and the refineries.
I think another question would be if the increase in price is going to change how you drive or reduce your travel?

I don't think the high prices will change the way I drive my Z. "Pedal to the medal"...But it will change how often I drive it. I'm going to try and stick to my weekend warrior vow. That's easier said than done when it's starting to warm up here in Maryland. All that snow gave me cabin Fever and I'm ready to roll. Once it hits 2 dollars a gallon I think my Exxon Speedpass will take a break and so will my Z. Well atleast on rainy days. It's so hard trying to stay out of that damn car.
