protection for radiator & A/C condenser
One previous thread noted that the radiator and air-conditioner condensing coil are vunerable to small rocks that can come through the grille. The rocks can cause a small hole in one of the units and cause a coolant or refrigerant leak. This type of failure, of course, would not be covered by the warranty and could be an expensive fix (especially the A/C condenser).
Q - Is anyone planning to use an inconspicuous, screen or mesh behind the grille, possibly anti-rice-black in color, to fend off any rocks?
Thanks,
WayneTN

So that's what I drilled through, while installing the beautiful oem front license plate bracket.
Reminds me of the time I drilled a hole in the bottom of my boat to increase drainage from the cockpit.

havent done it, but if I was going to Id get some screen material like a door screen, and put it on the back of the opening behind the 4 slits, itd be black and invisible, but should stop small rocks from damaging it.
or it might not work, if a stone is large enough to damage the radiator, the screen probably isnt a match for it...
if your handy enough to make a grill like grill tech for behind, then thatd do the trick.
