^^Ya I've heard that before, try going in and then walking out on em, if they dont sell it quick then they'll call you and work out a deal. you need to know what you want to spend and out of what package and know another used Z is right around the corner. be a d!ck, they're a dealer.

It's better to buy a car whose engine has been lugged for the first 1200 miles.

To answer your one question about why there is a used '06 on the lot already, there are lots of reasons. As you mentioned repo'd, etc.
Keep in mind the '06 have been out for a year. Some people get bored after a year and want something different. Sometimes their family situation has changed, e.g. a new baby and the Z is no longer practical.
I was at my dealer one Monday and a guy in a black roadster pulls in. He bought the previous Friday, drove it home, and his wife hat a s*** fit and made him return it. It was 3 days old and had about 500 miles on it. The dealer took it back on exchange for a Murano.
The car you're considering has low mileage, and lot's of factory warranty left, plus it's certified which, I think, extends the warranty a little more.
I wouldn't worry too much about why it's there.
