dude if you have to ask a question like this then you are never going to be satisfied with your auto. im not saying either is better but if your having second thoughts now then you really want a manual so just trade in your car and dont waste your money. its all about you being satisfied and happy with what you end up with.

see what you like better then go from there. if you like the idea of a manual tranny vs. auto tranny then get the manual. but keep in mind they can both be real fast no matter which direction you go. so whatever floats your boat man just go for it.

Why would it be a waste of time? Putting a puzzle together is a waste of time. Modding a car is exactly that. Whether you wanna make it faster, look better, sound better, it's all the same. A car is a car. I think your dilemma is you went and bought an auto but you're letting your friend talk trash about your car when in fact he has the same exact car.

don't get me wrong i love my car. when i bought it, the dealership only had ATs and i needed a new car quick. if i had been given the choice i would have gone with 6mt, but i'm perfectly happy with what i got. i basically just wanted to see what others had to say about it.

Modding an auto versus modding a manual = not much of a difference. It's all personal enjoyment, so do what you please!

Auto-Z's are not that much slower. With mods, they can be very quick.

Its your car, do what you want!

as long as you have the newer AT that I hear is supposed to rev-match, then I guess it's all good.
On the other hand, Nissan car sales fell last month, so if you want to help their numbers, trade it in!

Default Mod away!!

I recently added a Vortech S/C & Plenum spacer to my 5AT and am very happy. With a tune from Sharif, I am a very happy camper. I decided I also want the valve body mod -- just gotta find the $$ and time. I love her more now than I did before the mods -- and I didn't think that was possible!

Ummmm automatic is slower than manual if they both have the same mods by 10%. go look it up at vs man stock times and 0-60's. with at u loose power but gain reliability. and visversa for man.
